Snow View Cottages are located near Almora in the hills of the Kumaon region in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The location is very well connected by road.
Note that the property is located off the main road, so you need to walk about 100m along a walking path to reach the cottages. Vehicles can only be driven up to the main road, so guests need to be able to walk along the path to the cottages. It is a short and easy walk, but not recommended for anyone who has trouble walking.
By Road:
The cottages are located 5 km outside Almora town, from the main bus stand. You can hire a taxi for ‘Paparsali’, which is just 15 minutes from Almora town by taxi. The cottages are located right at Paparsali.
By Air + Road:
The nearest functional airport is New Delhi, from where you can make a 9 hour road journey to the property, or take a train to Kathgodam (4 hours) and then travel 3 hours by road.
By Rail + Road:
The property is located 3 hours’ drive from the nearest railway station of Kathgodam. There is a taxi company that regularly brings guests here from the train station, and we can book this for you. You can directly pay the driver and get a receipt. The company has well behaved drivers and they know where the property is located.
