If you are looking for a cottage tucked away from the hustle, and yet accessible, come enjoy the clear blue skies, snow mountain views and beautiful walks in the magical Himalayas. Both cottages have the following facilities available:
- Hot and cold water
- Fully functional kitchen to make your own food should you so wish *
- Use of a washing machine to wash your clothes **
- Regular cleaning of the property during your stay
- Use of outdoor porch area – to sit, chat, read or have tea/snacks
- Use of dining area in the garden
- USB dongle available to connect to the internet
- Parking for 2 vehicles, if required. If guests in both cottages have vehicles, then one parking spot will be allocated to each cottage. Note that the cottages are located on the hill side, so parking is about 100m away next to the road. The area is safe.
* We can also organise a cook to prepare delicious homemade food for you during your stay (for a small charge).
** Water supply on the ridge is very limited, and so water is highly rationed. We request you to be mindful of the impact of humans on the natural environment and therefore be very careful with your use of water during your stay.
The area nearby offers the following facilities:
- Plenty of stores within a 10 minute walk. Groceries are available for Indian as well as Western cooking.
- Several cafes and restaurants within walking distance that serve Indian and Western food
- All amenities such as internet cafes, mobile phone top ups, etc
- Travel agents to book travel by rail, air or taxi
